Welcome to the South East Arlington Communities webpage.
Residents in the South East area neighboring
communities have been approached by local Oil and Gas leasing
companies who wish to lease our mineral rights. By doing so, we are
giving the Oil and Gas drilling companies the right to drill and
harvest gas from beneath our homes.
This website will serve as a centralized location for
information about our current global leasing opportunity as well as
provide links to other websites for further research and
investigation.
New Updates
April 7, 2010
Dear Neighbors,
The South East Arlington Communities of Texas would like to inform all residents of an opportunity to take part in a FREE Mineral Rights Leasing Meeting, Know Your Rights.
Saturday, May 1, 2010 9 AM to noon MetroCenter, Fielder Road Baptist Church 1501 West Pioneer Parkway Arlington, Texas 76013.
The meeting will provide access to information on all aspects of mineral rights leasing and some of the secondary issues that arise from it. It is sponsored by a group of lawyers dedicated to fighting for homeowners’ rights in the Barnett Shale. The speakers and panel members will update attendees on forced pooling, permanent easements, laying of transmission pipelines, environmental issues, and more. Attorneys will also give updates on lawsuits filed on behalf of your neighbors against the gas companies. Everyone will have an opportunity to ask questions.
It is important that everyone has access to this important information now that the landmen and brokers are again knocking on doors, so please help spread the word.
Click here for a PDF file for the agenda of the meeting.

A finalized copy of the lease agreement will be posted on the website as soon as possible. Please hold all lease questions until it is posted and you have had a chance to review it. Any answers do not constitute legal advice, as we are not attorneys; we are volunteers with a basic working knowledge of typically acceptable clauses found in other leases.
Listed on the left are the lease highlights.
